Does God Condone Murder?

(II Sam. 3:7) “David has Uriah killed in battle so David can get his wife.”

(Judges 19:1-39) “Concubine escapes from master who finds her. To protect himself, he turns her over to a mob of Benjamenites who rape and kills her. The master cuts her up and sends the parts to each of the tribes.”

(Judges 20:1-48) “The other tribes take vengeance and wipe out all of the Benjamenites, including women and children, except for 600 men.”

(II Kings 9:8) “God says that he will wipe out the entire family of Ahab including all males, slaves and free alike.” (New kings usually kill all males pretenders of the old king's family. But why kill the poor slaves? They didn't do anything.)

(II Kings 9:30-37) “King Jehu orders three eunuchs to throw Jezebel out of the window where she splatters on blood all over. Then Jehu has his horses trampled her body.”

(I Kings 11:1-10) “Solomon has wives and concubines galore. He breaks God's law by having sex with women from other religions.”

(II Kings 23:5) “Josiah switches back to Jehovah and has all the priest of the other religions killed.”

(Isaiah 14:21-22) “God threatens to kill all of the King of Babylon's children and his children's children.”
