(Exodus
22:29) “Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe
fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give
unto me.” (Judges 11:30-40) Jephthah offers up his daughter as a burnt sacrifice for winning a battle against the Ammonites. (II Samuel 21:1-9) God makes a famine and tells David the reason for it is that Saul massacred the Gibeonites who were a remnant of the Amorites who God told Saul to massacre. So to stop the famine, David had 7 of Saul's descendents sacrificed by the Gibeonites to appease them. Then God stopped the famine. Of course the real reason was that David wanted to get rid of any descendents of Saul who might have a claim to his throne.
