The Bible on Homosexuality

Science has proven that homosexuality is genetic, not a choice. Many transsexuals have obviously not chosen which sex they would be. The death rate was so high among ancient people, that they were against anything that detracted from having more children for warrior, workers and as insurance for their old age. The legend of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorra was not about homosexuality but gang rape, a method subjugating enemies.

The Bible never said what the sin was that God used as a reason to distroy the cities. In those days, all national disasters were blamed on gods. When Ezekiel compaired the sins of Jerusalem to the sins of Sodom, homosexuality was not even mentioned.

In the New Testament, Jesus did not condemn homosexuality and the only person who did so was Paul who didn't even like women. Is it a woman's fault that she was born a woman? Jesus loved everyone, including sinners. Could you do any less?

Many people say that homosexuality is unnatural. How can it be unlaturan when homosexuality is part of nature? In his landmark book, Biological Exuberance: Animal Homosexuality and Natural Diversity, Biologist Bruce Bagemihl points out that homosexual behavior is found in over 450 animals of different species worldwide – in every major geographic region, and within every major animal group. Additional information can be found in Linda J. Patterson's book, Hate Thy Neighbor (www.hatethyneighborbook.com)

How could a rational, caring god, condemn someone he created? If he only wanted men and women to have sex, why didn't he just not make them in the first place?

(Lev. 20:13)
The penalty for a homosexual act is death to both parties. (If you believe a gay person should be killed, then you have to believe someone who works on Saturday or is an adulterer has to be killed also.)

(Lev. 20:14-15) If a man has sex with an animal, both must be killed. (But what if the animal didn't consent?)

These verses were written by Paul, not Jesus:

(Romans 1:27) “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
“And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”
