Ecclesiastes was supposedly written by Solomon
who must have been in a depressed state when he wrote it, if he wrote
it. He says that all we can do is to eat, drink and be merry and leave
the rest to God. He sounds more like a hedonist than a man of God. Unlike
the other books in the Bible, most of this book is very logical and could
have been written today by either an Atheist or a Christian. The only
thing I would disagree with is I wouldn't leave everything up to God to
solve.
